(ELWOOD, IN)- An Elwood doctor has agreed to a 90-day suspension of his medical license following after his arrest on charges of writing illegal prescriptions.
56-year-old Dr. Gregory Spangler appeared before the Indiana Medical Licensing Board Thursday.
Authorities say Spangler was having a personal relationship with a chronically-ill woman and gave her 84 prescriptions for painkillers, using the names of her relatives.
