(KOKOMO) - Chrysler Group has filed a tax abatement application in consideration of a $300 million investment in two of its facilities in Kokomo.
The investment would be used to install manufacturing and special tooling equipment in Chrysler Group's Kokomo casting plant and Indiana transmission plant to help the facilities prepare for a new advanced automatic transmission.
The council will consider the request for tax abatement at its meeting tonight.
