Retired Trooper Saves Infant's Life

(ANDERSON, IN) - An infant girl’s life was saved by a retired state trooper after a crash on US-36 in Madison County Friday.

A pick-up truck collided with a Hyundai Sedan, driven by 21-year-old Danielle Badgley of Shirley, Indiana.

Badgley's daughter, one-month-old Morgan was in her child seat in the back of the car and stopped breathing.

Retired trooper Larry Prichard performed CPR and was able to revive Morgan.

She was lifelined to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

Her mom was taken to St. John's hospital in Anderson.

Police say Badgley's daughter was in the proper restraints.
