(CHESTERFIELD, IN) - Fire destroyed a Madison County horse stable Monday, killing at least 14 horses.
A few horses that made it out of the burning stable suffered severe burns and were later euthanized.
Three workers were treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire appeared to start in either a supply area or a shop connected to the stable.
Strong winds spread the fire into the stable area.
