(MUNCIE, IN) - A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against a Muncie babysitter and a church.
Younghong Cheng and his wife said they left their four-month-old son in Tina Byrd's care based on the recommendation of Kris Holroyd, Associate Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The baby died in Byrd's home in January. Byrd faces criminal charges stemming from the infant's death.
The lawsuit alleges Holroyd was aware, at the time he recommended Byrd's services, that another infant had died in Byrd's care.
