Last updated on Wednesday, March 31, 2010

(LEBANON) - Two men led state police on a chase in a stolen military humvee Tuesday night.

State Police Sergeant Anthony Emery says 45-year-old Rusty Sparks of Beech Grove and another man stole the humvee from the Tyndall Armory in Indianapolis.

State police spotted the humvee about two hours later and gave pursuit. The chase continued onto I-65 in Boone County then onto rural roads before the vehicle got stuck near Boone County Road 500 East.

Sparks was arrested, but the other man got away. He is described as a lightly-skinned black man in his 40's. Police have extra patrols in the Elizaville area where he was last seen.
