Last updated on Friday, March 26, 2010

(UPLAND, IN) - A Grant County man fatally shot his wife in her mother’s home, then held police at bay for hours before shooting himself.

State Police say 42-year-old Paul Nose II died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The body of Nose's 39-year-old wife, Amy, was found in a bathroom.

Authorities say domestic problems between the couple had been ongoing for several weeks.
