(UNDATED) - The state will soon celebrate 100 years of state parks.
Use of Indiana's state parks has boomed over the last few years.
Despite operating with a reduced staff last year, gate revenue increased 8% over 2009 and total campground use increased 10.4%.
An estimated 17-million people visit Indiana state parks and reservoirs each year.
There is a state park within an hour of every Hoosier citizen.
