Attorney General Criticizing Political Group Over Hoosier Privacy

Last updated on Thursday, March 11, 2010

(UNDATED) - Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is publicly criticizing a political group for disrespecting Hoosiers’ privacy.

While the practice is not technically illegal, Zoeller feels that the calls the National Republican Congressional Committee are making violates the Treaty of 2010.

The treaty is a pledge that the parties won't use robo calls and urge the candidates to do the same.

Zoeller says Hoosiers enjoy their privacy and shouldn't be interrupted by annoying calls.

Indiana's auto dialer law prohibits prerecorded calls.
