Last updated on Friday, February 26, 2010

(ANDERSON, IN) - The city of Anderson is competing to become a test location for Google’s high-speed broadband network.

Anderson's Economic Development Director, Linda Dawson, tells inside Indiana Business Google's potential investment in the Madison County Community is the top economic development opportunity she has seen in her career.

Earlier this month, a Fort Wayne councilman also announced he is gathering input from government and community officials to apply for the network there.
