(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - One of Indiana’s most well-known philanthropists will be laid to rest today.
Services for Ruth Lilly are scheduled for later this morning at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis.
The pharmaceutical heiress spent her life and a good portion of her part of the family fortune.
Numerous charitable endowments and physical structures throughout Indiana bear the Ruth Lilly name as a permanent memorial to her impact on the state.
