Last updated on Friday, December 4, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A toddler remains in critical condition after two robbery suspects crashed into an Indianapolis daycare center Thursday.

Police Lieutenant Jeff Duhammel says the crash happened at the stepping stones daycare.

Police were pursuing two suspects who allegedly robbed a family dollar just a few blocks away.

Three other children and two adults received injuries in the crash, but were treated and released from hospitals.

19-year-old Theo Sanford and 21-year-old Darron Crowe are in custody facing charges of armed robbery, carrying a handgun without a license and fleeing police.

Additional charges could be filed.

Police found a handgun, cash and clothes in the vehicle that may have been used in the robbery.

Detectives are also looking for a possible third suspect who they believe fled after the crash.

Anyone with information on the robbery/crash is asked to call police.
