(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - A Purdue University expert says demand will grow for corn in 2010, but the outlook for soybean prices is not as optimistic.
Agricultural Economist Chris Hurt says the continued demand for Biofuels, along with the recovery of the global economy, will lead to increased U.S. exports and higher prices for corn.
He also says there is a strong possibility of higher world soybean inventories next year, meaning prices of that crop are less likely to increase.
