Census Reports Fewer People Moving To Indiana

Last updated on Tuesday, December 29, 2009

(UNDATED) - New data from the U.S. census shows fewer people are moving to Indiana.

The state's population grew by about 34,000, which is the smallest increase in the state's population growth since 2004.

The major cause of growth was due to babies being born. Indiana is still the 16th largest state with an estimated 6.42 million people.

That population will allow the state to keep its nine seats in congress.
