(BRAZIL, IN) - A Brazil woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle Saturday on State Road 340.
25-year-old Roxanne Buescher was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say she was trying to remove her dog from the roadway that had been hit by a different vehicle when she was struck.
The driver was not ticketed following the fatal accident.
