(UNDATED) - Marion County homeowners have until next week to pay their property tax bills, but for most of the state, the deadline is today.

November 10 was the standard deadline for fall tax bills until reassessment threw the schedule out of whack.

75 of the state's 92 counties are now back on schedule and ready to collect fall bills.

In three more counties, bills are due on Tuesday; but it's the spring bill, with the fall bill scheduled to go out two months late.

Taxpayers in six of the remaining 14 counties will have to write checks before the end of the month, including Marion County's November 19 deadline and Hendricks County a day later.

Four counties have bills due in December.

Brown, Clinton, LaPorte and White counties are still too far behind to know when the next bills will be due.

For the counties which are caught up, there's no time to relax, work begins next year on the next reassessment, which will affect the bills that are supposed to be paid in 2013.
