(EDWARDSPORT, IN) - Duke Energy Indiana said Tuesday that design modifications in its Edwardsport Coal Gasification Plant in Southwest Indiana will add about $150 million to the project’s $2.35 billion construction cost.
Duke is asking the Indiana utility regulatory commission to schedule a march meeting when the company will file revised rate impact estimates.
Previously, the company said customers would see an 18% rate increase between 2009 and 2013.
