(MOUNT ETNA, IN) - An eight-year-old Greentown boy is recovering from serious injuries after being shot in the chest while deer hunting in Huntington County.
Conservation officers say Jacob Weaver and his father were in a tree stand Saturday when the boy's foot accidently bumped a shotgun, causing it to fall to the floor and fire.
No charges are expected to be filed.
