(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A tribute to honor the late NCAA President Myles Brand took place at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis Wednesday night.
The event highlighted brands many achievements and provided a look at his remarkable life. Thousands of people attended the tribute, which had a limited number of seats for the public.
Jim Nantz from CBS Sports served as host for the event.
Eleven speakers and two musical acts including John Mellencamp also honored Brand at the event.
