Muncie Hospital Making A Commitment To The Enviroment

(MUNCIE, IN) - Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie is making a stronger commitment to the environment.

The installation began Monday for a 23-thousand square foot green roof on top of the south tower.

It will be the largest in Indiana.

Vegetation is planted directly onto the roof to conserve energy, reduce stormwater runoff and extend the life of the roof.
