(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - John Mellencamp, soprano Sylvia McNair and CBS Sportscaster Jim Nantz will headline a tribute this week to former NCAA President Myles Brand.
The NCAA says the October 28th Tribute at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will chronicle Brand's career and achievements.
It will come six weeks after his September 16th death at age 67 from pancreatic cancer.
Attendance is by invitation, but limited seats are available to the public.
Those interested in attending should apply by the end of the day at www.ncaa.org.
