Last updated on Friday, October 30, 2009

(LAKEVILLE, IN) - The former Clerk-Treasurer for the town of Lakeville may soon face additional charges, this time related to drugs.

30-year-old Casey Grove was charged earlier this week with residential entry and misdemeanor battery for allegedly attacking his girlfriend last week.

Lakeville Town Marshal Bill Boyer II confirmed Thursday that a later search of Grove's home turned up suspected drugs.

Reports have now been filed with the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office and are under review for possible charges.

Grove is still at large after failing to show up for his Monday arraignment.
