First Injectable H1N1 Doses Arrive In Indiana

Last updated on Thursday, October 15, 2009

(UNDATED) - The first injectable doses of vaccine against H1N1 flu have begun arriving in Indiana.

Vaccinations of some high-risk Hoosiers.

State health officials say the Federal Centers for Disease Control ship vaccine directly to local health departments, who will decide who gets first crack at it.

That problem is expected to dissipate toward the end of October or early November as vaccine production ramps up.
