Award-Winning Purdue Instructor Dead At Age 88

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - An award-winning Purdue University instructor has passed away.

88-year-old Leslie Geddes was a distinguished Professor of Biomedical Engineering and recipient of the National Medal of Technology.

He started at Purdue in 1974. His accomplishments involved burn treatments, miniature defibrillators, ligament repair and blood pressure monitors for premature infants.
