(MISHAWAKA, IN) - Police are identifying the man struck and killed by a train in Mishawaka.

44-year-old Leo Holley was hit Friday by a westbound train as he walked along the tracks near Main Street.

Holley was released from the Miami Correctional Facility in 2008 for a felony drunken driving charge.

On December 31st of that year, he was also arrested in South Bend on a drunken driving charge, and was convicted of being a habitual traffic offender.

St. Joseph County Jail records show Holley was arrested again in mid-July for violating parole.

It's not clear why he was walking on the tracks.
