Meetings Held For Public Opinion On Proposed Water Bill Increase

Last updated on Wednesday, September 16, 2009

(UNDATED) - A series of meetings are being held in Indiana to gauge public opinion about a proposed water bill increase.

The Indiana office of utility consumer counselor is asking for input from residents who would be affected the Indiana American Water Company's decision to increase charges by up to about $10 dollar per month.

OUCC Spokesman Anthony Swinger says field hearings are planned in Muncie and Jeffersonville, but other customers can participate as well.
