(STILLWELL, IN) - Police say a LaPorte County man recently found $5,000 in cash inside a bag and called police, who returned the money to its rightful owner.
Donald Hall told police he was entering his driveway near Stillwell when he saw a bag lying next to the highway.
When Hall looked inside, he discovered the cash.
Authorities used a deposit slip inside the bag to locate the owner.
Police say she plans to offer Hall some type of reward for his honesty.
