Former Visteon Plant To Be Used By Carbon Motors

Last updated on Tuesday, September 8, 2009

(CONNERSVILLE, IN) - The Mayor of Connersville says his city has been electrified by the announcement that Carbon Motors will use the old Visteon plant to produce high tech police cars.

The company has closed its office in Atlanta, Georgia. Some of its workers have already moved to the economically depressed eastern Indiana community.

Mayor Leonard Urban says residents are still buzzing about the opportunity to become the "police car capital of the world."
