(UNDATED) - The Emerald Ash Borer is ravaging trees throughout Indiana.
The insects lay their offspring inside ash trees which, once hatched, tunnel throughout, sucking up nutrient-rich sap and killing trees within three to four years.
The beetles have been spotted in six Indiana counties.
Anyone who suspects beetles have attacked their ash trees is asked to call the Department of Natural Resources.
