(UNDATED) - As the national health care debate rages, the Indiana Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics held a legislative forum Wednesday that focused on the issue.
Physicians from across the country and political leaders were in attendance.
Academy Co-President Dr. Sarah Spelzner, an Indianapolis pediatrician, says several areas need to be reformed in pediatrics including access to care and full benefits without a cost share or co-payment.
She says equal payment to medicare rates and quality are other issues that need to be addressed.
