(UNDATED) - Indiana State Police say a Howe man wanted in both Michigan and Indiana may have recently faked his own death in Missouri.

Sergeant Ron Galaviz says a suitcase was found nearly two weeks ago in Charlestown, Missouri that contained several items belonging to 28-year-old Nathan Lumbard.

Authorities also reportedly found a suicide note, but no body.

Investigators believe he never committed suicide, but they are unsure of where he went.
