(AVON, IN) - An Avon elementary school has a presumed case of H1N1 flu in the school.
Officials at Maple Elementary sent home a letter this week indicating one student had tested positive for the virus, however Hendricks County Health Department Nursing Director Monica Smith says the case has not been confirmed.
Smith says any test that is positive for influenza-A is assumed to be H1N1, but isn't necessarily confirmed.
