(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts fans were in the parking lots firing up their grills hours before Thursday’s pre-season game with the Philadelphia Eagles.
But one national survey puts Indianapolis tailgating at 16th among the NFL's 32 franchises.
The president of the Blue Crew Fan Club, Randy Collins, says it's hard to compete with locations like Miami and Kansas City.
Those cities have stadiums in the suburbs surrounded by one huge parking lot.
