(CHESTERTON, IN) - It’s confirmed.
A tornado slammed into Chesterton Wednesday night.
Eight buildings were destroyed and roofs were tore off an apartment building and the middle school.
The National Weather Service reported that the tornado reached a maximum wind speed of 120 mph.
There were no reported injuries.
