(BLOOMINGTON) - The abuse of prescription drugs is on the rise in Indiana.
Eric Wright with IU's Center For Health Policy wrote the report which found almost eight percent of Hoosiers reported abusing prescription drugs in the past year.
The national rate is just over six percent.
Prescription drug abuse by 18 to 25 year olds is up to 16 percent in the state compared with 12 percent nationwide.
