Police Officer In Stable Condition After Crashing Patrol Car

(MOORESVILLE) - A Mooresville police officer is in stable condition after crashing his patrol car overnight.

Officer Ryan Goodwin was pursuing a motorist along state road 42 when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole.

That caused a power outage in the area.

IPL is on the scene working to get that fixed.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Department and Mooresville Police are investigating the crash.

They say the driver officer Goodwin was following got away.
