(VALPARAISO) - A lawsuit has been filed over the bridge collapse at Hidden Lake Park in Merrillville on the Fourth of July.
A preliminary police investigation shows structural failure caused the pedestrian bridge to collapse, sending more than 50 people into 6 to 8 feet-deep water and causing a variety of injuries.
