(VINCENNES) - The Red Skelton Festival in downtown Vincennes is this weekend.
The fourth annual celebration commemorates the city's most famous son whose life and career spanned over 70 years in radio, television and the movies.
The main event is the "Red Skelton festival parade of clowns" through downtown on Saturday.
The parade is inspired by the Hoosier comedian's most famous character, a clown known as "Freddie the freeloader".
