State Police Arrest Franklin Man For Bribing Auditor

(GREENFIELD) - State Police have arrested a Franklin man accused of bribing the Hancock County auditor.

42-year-old James Barger is charged with bribery and theft.

Barger is accused of being paid 238-thousand dollars for unapproved repairs at the Hancock County Courthouse.

Barger is a cousin to County Auditor Linda Grass who was arrested Wednesday.
