Last updated on Thursday, May 14, 2009

(SEYMOUR) - One of America’s most wanted is in police custody after an Indiana State Police motor carrier inspector discovered him riding in a semi near Seymour.

Master Motor Carrier Inspector Mary Eglen discovered Michael Dwayne LeMasters Wednesday while performing a routine stop on the northbound scales on I-65.

When LeMasters failed to produce identification, she ran a background check.

Police say LeMasters was wanted on 64 criminal counts by three different law enforcement agencies.

He is facing several charges, including incest, sexual abuse, sodomy and felony assault.

LeMasters was taken to the Jackson County Jail awaiting extradition back to Oregon.
