(INDIANAPOLIS) - A former Marion County prosecutor has pleaded guilty in a drunk-driving case that killed a man.

28-eight year-old Terry Record appeared Wednesday in Marion Superior Court and pleaded guilty to a Class C felony charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, causing death. Record admits he was drinking beer and shots with a stripper at Brad's Brass Flamingo in May 2007.

Prosecutors say he left the bar drunk, ran a red light at Southeastern Avenue and Pleasant Run Parkway and crashed into a truck driven by 46 year-old Jimmy Cash.

The impact killed Cash. Record's blood alcohol level was 0.15 at the time of the fatal crash., that's nearly twice the state legal limit of 0.08.
