(EDINBURGH) - It was an emotional send-off at Camp Atterbury Monday afternoon as soldiers from the 16-13th Engineering Support Company out of Lafayette said goodbye to their family and loved ones before deploying to Afghanistan.
The 180 soldiers are a team of carpenters, electricians and heavy equipment operators whose mission is to improve the living conditions for American troops throughout Afghanistan.
