(NOBLESVILLE) - A shredded tire caused an accident on I-69 Tuesday afternoon that killed a Pennsylvania man.
Hamilton County authorities say 69-year-old David Smith's rear right tire began to shred. Smith lost control of his pickup and it flipped off the road. He was ejected and killed on impact.
The crash closed the northbound lanes for four hours.
