Recession Blamed In Toilet Paper Theft

Last updated on Saturday, March 28, 2009

(LAFAYETTE) - Some people are being forced to take drastic measures due to the recession.

At the Lafayette Adult Resource Academy, someone is stealing the Charmin!

Staff members report they've noticed up to 20 toilet tissue rolls missing every day.

They first thought it was a prank, but now blame the recession.

Some workers are now bringing their own extra rolls to work.

The school plans to install locked dispensers inside all restrooms.
