FBI Working To Prevent Terrorist Attack On Big Ten Games

Last updated on Sunday, March 8, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The FBI is working with Indiana law enforcement to make sure that the big ten basketball tournaments this month do not become targets for terrorists.

A terrorist attack this week on a cricket team in Pakistan killed six police officers and a driver and wounded seven players, a coach and an umpire.

The big ten women's basketball tournament began Friday in Indianapolis and the men's tournament starts this Thursday.

Osborne says the FBI and other law enforcement agencies have security procedures in place to protect fans, student-athletes and coaches.
