(CARMEL) - The driver who crashed into a McCordsville woman - killing her - is out of jail.
23-year-old Kyle Hughes bonded out Friday.
Police say he admitted to them, he'd taken painkillers, sleeping pills and had smoked marijuana before crashing into 45-year-old Angela Michael on a fishers road Thursday.
Hughes had first told police he'd turned around to help his toddler son in the backseat - before crossing the center line and colliding with Michael.
