(EVANSVILLE) - About 24,700 homes and businesses in Southern Indiana remain without power, down from a peak of more than 100,000 following Wednesday's winter storm.
Most of those without power are in the Evansville area, where Vectren reported 20,000 outages Sunday evening.
Vectren officials say most power should be restored by Thursday, though some isolated outages could linger until next weekend.
