Sudden Snow Showers Cause Interstate Accidents Monday Morning

Last updated on Wednesday, February 4, 2009

(UNDATED) - Indiana State Police say three people were killed in an interstate crash Monday morning in Hamilton County.

State police say more than 3 miles of I-69 remain closed between the Anderson and Fishers exits.

Sgt. Mike Burns says the crash involved numerous semis and other vehicles.

A separate crash near the Pendleton exit involved between twenty and thirty vehicles. No serious injuries are reported in that crash.

The crashes followed a snowstorm that quickly moved into Central Indiana, dropping nearly four inches of snow.
