(RICHMOND) - Military recruiters are seeing more people walk into their offices as a result of the sagging economy.
An army recruiter in Richmond says his recruit numbers are up and he's seeing more older people who have been laid off inquiring about a career with the U.S. Army.
Some of the prospective recruits have no other career options available or are attracted by the educational benefits offered by the military.
