Prison Superintendent Aressted

Last updated on Saturday, February 21, 2009

(MICHIGAN CITY) - A former prison superintendent found himself on the other side of the law Thursday.

Michigan city police arrested 57-year-old Timothy Todd for his alleged role in an assault of a club's bartender and a customer.

Todd is accused grabbing the female bartender by her forearm and left breast area - and pushed her to the floor- after she told him he would no longer be served.

By the time police arrived they say Todd had also had a fist fight with a patron who'd tried to protect the bartender.

So they tased him. He's facing batter and resisting law enforcement charges.

Todd has been suspended from his current job - as an administrative assistant at Lakeside Correctional Facility.
